Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon

5 out of 5 11 June 2017
Location: Age: Over 65 Bought For Daughter Occasion: Christmas
Arrived early and were put with an hour earlier tour which made for plenty of time afterwards to have some food and a non-pressured trip around the exhibition. It was great to see the other side of the tennis courts as you don't get any sort of idea of perspective from the TV. Our guide (Cynthia) was charming and extremely knowledgeable which made the visit such an interesting one. The plants were being put into their pots, tubs, baskets etc and one could already see how beautiful they will look come the Tournament with their 'Wimbledon' colour scheme. Very enjoyable trip and thoroughly recommend to all tennis fans.

Everything to do with tennis is here

5 out of 5 08 May 2017
Location: Age: Over 65 Bought For Friend Occasion: Anniversay
Firstly I would like to mention that I had to cancel my original booking as my friend was unwell. Even though this was just two days before the planned visit there was no fuss. Very helpful personnel. The visit itself was very enjoyable. The museum was far bigger than we expected. Full of artefacts and information. The audio-guide was easy to use and very useful. We had only seen half the exhibits when it was time for our tour. No problem, as we were able to resume in the museum when the tour had finished. Relaxed atmosphere - no time pressure. The tour took us behind the scenes and it was fascinating to visit centre court, studios, press room etc. Our tour guide, David, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. He was happy to answer any questions asked. As this was a gift I can't say if it was value for money BUT the friend I took with me was the one who had bought it and she was impressed.

Brilliant behind the scenes tour with a guide who clearly knew her subject. Lots of interesting anecdotes which meant that even someone who knew a lot about Wimbledon beforehand learnt new things. Relaxed atmosphere and group size was just right.

We had a great afternoon at the Wimbledon Tennis Tour. The guides were very informative and provided a real insight into the Wimbledon site and history of the competition. The virtual reality tour of Wimbledon in the museum was a great little feature which we only caught by chance when strolling through the museum.
