I went along to Whittlebury with my wife and was a bit hesitant that it was more of a female thing. However it was extremely relaxing for me also and helped me unwind which I generally find hard to do. All staff were helpful and the facilities exceeded my expectations.
What would you improve for next time? The pool was quite cold in comparison to the spa/jaquzzi.

Myself and my husband really enjoyed our stay at Whittlebury Hall. The Heat & Ice experience was lovely, the main pool however was very cold and so was the relaxation room and some of the areas around the spa. The afternoon tea was lovely, and the dinner and breakfast were also very tasty. The bedroom was perfect for a one night stay.
What would you improve for next time? The temperature of the changing rooms and main pool area needed to be higher.

I booked this experience for my 25th Birthday with my mum. When I made the booking, as it's my first time. It would have been nice to told how everything works. You can use the facilities from 8am but I wasn't aware that their was lockers to store your belongings until your room was ready. We arrived just after 3pm when our room would be available, and we wasn't told by reception where to get our robes, where the spa was, just general direction to make our stay flow a bit more. It was a lot of walking around, back and fourth. We went to the spa, to get our towels and wasn't given any robes until we had to then go back to go and them. Dinner was nice, we was given the wrong menu by accident and the Manager swooped in and basically snatched it out of our hands.. being a discounted guests. We was quickly given the correct basic menu, which was basically the same food. You have to pay for your drinks but it would of been a gesture to have a my cocktail for free or a little birthday cake, as they were aware and it was mentioned to the reception staff. They said they would arrange something but it didn't happen. Breakfast was okay, if you want the American pancakes that is an extra charge. If you want to use the Spa facilities you can pay an extra £10 after checkout which I didn't realize that on my booking letter or was told over the phone when booking. So I can't give an opinion on the Heat & Ice experience because we didn't get to use it or the quite bed area which looked nice, didn't know it was there. Until I went to get my facial, that was the only Positive thing. My Glow facial was amazing and the best part. My Therapist Nantiya, was really nice and friendly. She answered all my questions to my skin concerns and recommended the products that would help. I was really looking forward to this overnight stay and both myself and my mum was disappointed. I have been there for work purposes so my expectations were really high and they didn't meet it.
What would you improve for next time? Go with your instinct, should of gone to Champneys.

A party of 10 women spent the day / night here after buying a voucher on buyagift.com. The venue is lovely, the spa, changing rooms, bedrooms etc all very nice and the food was faultless. But, it was just too busy. There was so many people when we arrived it was stressful and we were not processed in time to have our first treatment. The staff were great and rescheduled our appointment but the sheer volume of people there put me off going back any time soon. A shame as otherwise a lovely time had by all.
What would you improve for next time? Less people. Also my massage wasn't great.

I booked Whittlebury for my husband as a birthday gift. It's our third visit here. We always enjoy the spa and the accommodation and restaurant is very high standard. The downside this time was that the spa was very busy. If you are planning a visit make it on a weekday!
What would you improve for next time? Less busy spa
